Southampton and District - Division 2 - 2023 Report
The team enjoyed an incredible season, culminating in promotion to the top Division of the S&D League. 

Of our 14 matches, we won 11 and lost 3, finishing 10 points ahead of Old Green, who were runners up. 

The season commenced with a 6-0 victory away at Waterside and we held top position all season, winning the title with 2 games to spare.

I was fortunate to have a regular squad of players to select from and, on the rare occasion that it was necessary, players from the Combination team stepped up to the plate to help out.  Another major benefit in our success, I feel, was using the same players and regular skips on their specific rinks every match.

For the second year running, we reached the semi-final of the Ken Marsh Trophy, only to lose to Sports Centre again.

There was a terrific team spirit through the season and my thanks go to each and every one of you for your support, in what was great achievement for the club
