S&DWBA Coffee Morning
LOCKSWOOD LADIES' HELP TO MAKE IT A GREAT SUCCESS!
The Annual S&DWBA Coffee Morning was held last Wednesday, the first one for three years! It was good to be back and to meet up with friends from the District.
The Coffee Morning raises money for the Ladies' Southampton and District and for the President's Charity. This year's President is Sylvia Mould from Hyde Abbey and her charity is The British Heart Foundation.
The ladies of Lockswood were very well represented with seventeen attending to help raise funds. There were about ten tables set out with items to buy or games to play for a prize.
Lockswood ran a "Royal" Treasure Hunt and a Human Fruit Machine.
The Human Fruit Machine went down very well and made people laugh.
Lockswood won several prizes from the Raffle and Janice Ivil won a bottle of bubbly on the Irish Bingo.
On the day Lockswood Ladies raised £46.
We received a lovely message of Thanks on behalf of Sylvia the President and the S&DWBA Committee, thanking everyone who donated prizes, bought raffle tickets, held a stall and came along to support the Coffee Morning. A total of £931.50 was raised which is a fantastic sum and a great achievement.

Dear Members,
The Ladies' Rinks and Triples Fixtures for 2022 are now available to view on the relevant pages and Club Commitments page. At present they are shown in red as they will not be confirmed until early May.
Also, the G&F Fixtures have been amended where necessary and published on the relevant pages and Club Commitments page.
All events to date (11th March) have been entered on the Club Commitments page and Club Calendar.
If you notice any events or matches not entered or there any inaccuracies., please let me know and also advise of any changes to rearrangement of matches or events.
