Charity Presentation

Jan and Eve will be presenting a cheque for £700 to representatives of Naomi House and Jack's Place,

on: - Wednesday 10th November at 12 Noon at Lockswood Bowling Club.

This will be at the end of the Wednesday Roll - Up.

It would be nice if players could remain behind after the game for the presentation. If anyone else is free to attend it would be much appreciated.

Jan and Eve would like to thank all the club members for their help in raising this amount towards their chosen charity.

Lockswood Ladies attended the Annual S&DWBA Presentation Lunch on Friday at Fleming Park. A lovely three course lunch was enjoyed before the Presentation of Trophies to the League and Competition winners for the 2021 Season.

We were pleased to have one trophy awarded to Ann Bryant and Carol Windust as Runners Up in the Championship Pairs.

The 2021 Season was all about getting back to bowls after a two year break. Despite this being the case it was lovely to see that the League and Competitons were contested much as usual albeit, with a few exceptions due to the restrictions.

Many thanks from Lockswood Bowling Club to all the S&DWBA Committee especially to Chris Robinson and Lyn Kirby who worked hard to ensure we could play League and Competition Bowls this year.

Many thanks also, to everyone who worked hard to organise the Presentation Lunch and who made it a very enjoyable finale to the 2021 season.
