MARCH 2019 news
End of Winter Season Friendly v Mayfield Park
The Annual Friendly Match against the Mayfield Park Winter Ticket Holders, took place on Thursday 28th March. A beautiful Spring Day with seven full rinks made this a super ending to the 2018-2019 Winter Season.
Rinks one to five consisted of Mayfield v Lockswood whilst Rinks six and seven had mainly players from Lockswood in drawn teams. The reds playing for Lockswood and the whites playing for Mayfield.
Lockswood won on five rinks and lost on two with the totals being 118-98 in Lockswood's favour. However, the real winners were all those who played in a great spirit and it was the friendliness of both teams that won the day.
Mayfield thanked us for our hospitality during the season and have arranged a return Friendly at Mayfield Park for Tuesday 23rd April at 6pm.
